How To Choose Your Niche?

Every business needs to have a niche, the only thing that you need to understand is focusing on one (1) niche rather than selecting too many niches. By doing that, the more you focus on your efforts on understanding one area, the better you will understand the needs of the customers based on the specific area. Example niche for football, and you will find as much as possible information on this niche and find out what are the product they need.

In this book, I will be giving away my strategies and guidelines for picking a niche for your new affiliate business. Please make sure that you must spend plenty of time on this step! Please note that do not too aggressive without proper research when getting started to choose the right niche for your affiliate business.

In this process, there are (3) three question you need to ask yourself:

A.    What are you interested in?

·         What are your Hobbies: Fishing, Gardening, Chess etc.?

·         What are the Problems: Obesity, Depression, Home Repairs?

·         What are your Passions: Fitness, Causes, Education?

·         What is the Trend: Healthy Living, Organic Eating, Home-schooling?

Whatever niche that you pick, make sure you'll stick with it. You'll need to consistently create content and be involved in the niche and its community.

Your goal: Become an Authority in the niche!

B.     Do People Spend Money in it?

- Check it out what are the product for the niche that you interested in?

- How much is there spending power for the niche?

- How big is the market for the niche? 

Identify the spending power within your area for the niche that you interested. Do a bit research also on the niche price to ensure that there is market for your niche.

C.    Are there products to promote?

·         Look for: Advertiser - Billboard, Internet, Magazine, Newspaper, Books, Association, Groups, Info-products and Physical Products.

·         Niche it Down - Most people go too broad. The problem? Too Competitive?

Drill down more specific your niche as per following:

Category  >  Niche  > Sub-Niche

Example:

Heath & Fitness -> Dieting -> Weight Loss for Busy Moms

Cooking -> Baking -> Gluten Free Baking

Sports -> Basketball -> High School Basketball
